Kuailian leaves ETH blockchain
The last few months, the payment system has been a real headache for the Kuailian ecosystem.
The incessant increases in the price of ETH gas have meant unaffordable commissions in the transactions of this blockchain.
This has meant the impossibility of paying on a daily basis and the need to find alternative solutions, such as the Zksync Sidechain, which ended up being equally unfeasible.
All of this has led Kuailian to abandon the Ethereum blockchain for its payments.
The alternative: The Tron Blockchain
Kuailian will start making payments through the Tron network imminently.
However, Tron is only the technology that will support the payments. But the payments will be made in USDT (Tether) which is a stable cryptocurrency whose value is $ 1.
It is very important to note that not just any USDT wallet is valid for receiving payments.
It must be a USDT wallet that works on the Tron TRC20 network.
If a USDT wallet is selected that works with another blockchain, such as the ETH blockchain (ERC20), the funds will be lost.
This is the case, for example, of the Exodus USDT wallet, which is implemented on ERC20.
Therefore, it is essential to have a USDT wallet on TRC20.
All users will need to enter their USDT wallet in Kuailian in order to receive payments.
How to create a USDT wallet on the Tron TRC20 network
There are some services, such as ledger, that provide USDT wallets with TRC20.
Some exchanges also provide these types of wallets, but not all exchanges are compatible with payments from Smart Contracts like the Kuailian one, so it is not recommended to use them.
Therefore, if you do not have a USDT TRC20 wallet, it is best to create one.
These two official Kuailian tutorials explain how to create a USDT TRC20 wallet with Tronlink, using a browser extension or through an app:
Both processes are valid but you only have to use one of them.
If the wallet is created with the browser extension, that wallet can be imported into the app using the recovery words. Or vice versa.
What you must not to do is to create two different wallets.
This USDT TRC20 wallet will be the one that will have to be reported in the Security – Wallet Management section of the kuailian website.
Payments are received in USDT
Payments will be received in USDT.
In addition, Kuailian will contribute a small amount of Tron, which is needed to move USDT from one wallet to another.
When we receive our funds in USDT plus that small amount from Tron, we can send those funds to an Exchange, always using the Tron network, and once in the Exchange we can exchange them for the currency we want.
